Cynthia M. Mehnert
SENIOR COUNCIL
“The nuances and intricacies of real estate law can be overwhelming for some clients; it gives me great satisfaction to work with individual clients and businesses to find a successful resolution of their real estate matter.”
About
Cynthia M. Mehnert has practiced real estate law for over 30 years in both Maine and Massachusetts. She represents clients in the sale and acquisition of commercial and residential property. She also assists with real estate transactions that arise as part of estate planning or probate administration. For many years, Cindy has truly enjoyed working with local land trusts and private landowners on land acquisition and preservation for conservation purposes.
In addition to her real estate practice, Cindy works with the Municipal Law Department. Cindy’s interest in Municipal Law stems from her 12 years of service on the Orono Town Council, including six years as Chair of Council. Cindy spends her time serving on the board of the Bangor Target Area Development Corporation, and has served on the boards of the Orono Public Library Foundation, the Orono Bogwalk Capital Campaign Committee, and the Grievance Commission of the Maine Board of Bar Overseers.
