This is a reminder/notification that late last week the US DOL announced that it had made mandatory changes to two workplace postings, the Federal Minimum Wage Poster and the Federal Employee Polygraph Protection Act Poster. Both must be posted as of August 1, 2016.
The new Federal Minimum Wage Poster has revised information about 1) the standard for an employee versus an independent contractor; 2) the rights of nursing mothers; and 3) tip credits. The new Federal Employee Polygraph Protection Act Poster has revised information regarding correct DOL contact information and it removes reference to the amount of the penalty for a violation of the law. |
