Rudman Winchell is pleased to announce that Michael A. Hockenbury, Esq. has joined the firm and will practice within the Corporate and Business Practices group. Prior to joining Rudman Winchell, Mike practiced with a litigation firm in Bangor where he focused his practice on various criminal, civil, probate, and corporate matters.Mike has also worked representing various financial institutions dealing with creditors’ rights and the recovery of outstanding debts. “Mike’s legal knowledge and practical approach to resolving matters have earned him not only the appreciation of his clients but also the respect of fellow attorneys,” says Rudman Winchell Partner Chris Austin. “We are fortunate that Mike has decided to join our firm and look forward to him expanding his practice with us.”
Mike was raised in New Jersey. He attended Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice Studies in 2009 while also playing for the men’s soccer team. He later went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island in 2013.
He was admitted to the Bar in Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Maine. Mike is a member of the Maine Bar Association, Rhode Island Bar Association, the Penobscot County Bar Association, and the John Waldo Ballou Inn of Court.
