On June 21st, 2023, Rudman Winchell proudly participated in the Longest Day Walk to show our support for the Alzheimer’s Association. Attorneys and staff from our firm joined forces, taking meaningful steps through downtown Bangor to make a difference. This incredible event not only raised over $1,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association but also strengthened our bonds as a team.
The summer solstice, a day marking the longest daylight of the year, holds symbolic significance. It represents hope, renewal, and the triumph of light over darkness. On this special day, the Alzheimer’s Association organizes the Longest Day Walk, honoring the challenging journey faced by those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
Rudman Winchell wholeheartedly embraced the spirit of the Longest Day Walk. Our attorneys and staff formed multiple teams, hitting the streets of downtown Bangor with determination and purpose. We walked together, united in our commitment to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Association.
But our involvement didn’t end with the walk. At Rudman Winchell, we believe in fostering a sense of community and togetherness. That’s why we organized a potluck lunch for our office, where attorneys and staff came together to share a meal and strengthen our connections. It was a time of camaraderie and support, reflecting our dedication to making a positive impact in the communities we serve.
Through personal donations from our staff and attorneys, we raised over $500. And to amplify our impact, Rudman Winchell matched those donations, resulting in a total contribution exceeding $1,000 to support the Alzheimer’s Association’s invaluable work. We are proud to stand with them in their mission to fund research, provide care and support, and raise awareness about Alzheimer’s and brain health.
Our participation in the Longest Day Walk showcases Rudman Winchell’s unwavering dedication to making a meaningful difference in our community. By walking through downtown Bangor on the summer solstice, our attorneys and staff demonstrated their commitment to raising awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Association. Together, we strive to support those affected by Alzheimer’s and contribute to the ongoing fight against this challenging disease.
